Adarsh Kisan Club, Mashog, Pangna was formed in March, 2005 with the joint efforts of Branch Manager, B.O. Pangna and valuable support of NABARD. The Club consists of 20 farmers of village Mashog, Pangna. The farmers were earlier engaged in their ancestral agricultural activities and growing the traditional crops like What, Paddy, maize and were living in poverty.
The Bank and NABARD organized various training programmes to educate the members of this Kisan Club on exotic vegetables cultivation, cermi-compost, poultry farming, rain shed water harvesting, vegetable production under controlled conditions . Now the farmers are growing exotic vegetable, running poultry farms, Fish farming , vermin culture, apple orchards etc and are leading a good life.
In addition to growing off season vegetables, the Kisan club is making efforts to establish new technologies like drip irrigation , water sprinklers, green house for high yielding color capsicum production. The Kisan Club has also provided two big water tanks made of sitpaulin sheets for irrigation purposes, two poultry farms and one fish pound apart from vegetable cultivation.
Our Pangna branch has issued 42 Kisan Credit Cards in the village. The bank has played big role for the upliftment of people of this village and in turn bank is earning good profit.
